Award winning photographer Michael Mahovlich has a knack for delivering for clients with a various technical requirements within a single project. Whether it’s shooting all or any combination of food, people and/or interiors, Michael excels. Clients such as Casino Niagara, Pearson International Airport, Casino Rama, Hotel Intercontinental and Caesars Casino are just a few of the many clients who have had their complex shoot lists solved by Michael’s multidisciplinary skillset and approach to problem solving.

Toronto based lover of cats and bike lanes, Michael works out of a bespoke photography studio in Toronto’s Junction Triangle neighbourhood. The studio is 2,600 sq ft featuring a 30’ x 15’ cove, full kitchen, extensive prop collection, street level garage door access, Wi Fi , air conditioning, parking, electric car charging, client lounge and work area. In short, everything you need to make your next photo shoot a success.

A passionate cook, Michael has always enjoyed food and beverage photography working for clients such as Loblaws, Metro, Haagen-Dazs, Lou’s Ribs, Steam Whistle Brewing, Henderson Brewing, Great Lakes Brewery, Dillon’s distillery, and Georgian Bay Distllery amoung many others. Loblaws asked Michael to be the principal photographer for their “Black Label” line of gourmet food. The Mahovlich studio shot on location to tell the origin story of over 100 sku’s shot in Scotland, England, France, Switzerland Belgium, Spain and Italy.
