Depuis 2003, Andrew Gilbert évolue au cœur de l’industrie de la beauté avec une vision guidée par l’excellence, l’innovation et une sensibilité artistique distinctive. Diplômé au Saguenay, il y développe durant plus de douze ans une expertise approfondie comme coiffeur, coloriste et entrepreneur, forgeant une signature professionnelle alliant précision technique et esthétique contemporaine.

Animé par une ambition créative d’envergure, Andrew s’installe à Montréal en 2013 afin de s’intégrer pleinement à l’univers des productions artistiques et médiatiques. Cette même année, il participe au tournage du film X-Men: Days of Future Past, une expérience déterminante qui confirme sa passion pour les plateaux de tournage et les environnements de création à grande échelle.

Déjà remarqué en 2012 pour son travail de coiffeur à l’émission Star Académie, Andrew poursuit son ascension en collaborant avec de nombreuses personnalités publiques et en intervenant sur divers plateaux de télévision. Parallèlement, il participe à plusieurs shootings éditoriaux pour des magazines de mode québécois, contribuant à la création d’images fortes et contemporaines au sein de l’industrie fashion locale.

Toujours engagé dans une démarche d’excellence, Andrew perfectionne continuellement sa maîtrise de la coloration à travers des formations spécialisées auprès de marques professionnelles reconnues telles que Joico et Oligo Professionnel, pour laquelle il agit également comme artiste de plateaux et créateur de visuel ainsi qu’une participation à plusieurs magazine de mode québécois à titre de coiffeur et parfois comme maquilleur également .

Depuis cinq ans, il élargit son expression artistique au maquillage professionnel, développant une approche globale de l’image qui lui permet aujourd’hui d’offrir une direction artistique complète. Sa signature se distingue par une esthétique moderne, éditoriale et raffinée, inspirée des univers du luxe, de la mode et du cinéma. En 2025 , il a été jugé de la populaire compétition de coiffure canadienne , les prix contessa 2025 .

In parallel, he participates in several editorial photoshoots for Quebec fashion magazines, contributing to the creation of strong and contemporary images within the local fashion industry. Always committed to excellence, Andrew continually hones his hair coloring skills through specialized training with renowned professional brands such as Joico and Oligo Professionnel, for which he also works as a set artist and visual creator. He also contributes to several Quebec fashion magazines as a hairstylist and sometimes as a makeup artist. For the past five years, he has expanded his artistic expression to include professional makeup, developing a comprehensive approach to image that now allows him to offer complete art direction. His signature style is distinguished by a modern, editorial, and refined aesthetic, inspired by the worlds of luxury, fashion, and film. In 2025, he was a judge at the popular Canadian hairstyling competition, the Contessa Awards.
