Matthew’s singular artistry, depth of knowledge, and creativity and innovation brought to each assignment sets him apart. He melds his painting and fine art background with the skill and expertise he’s developed as a makeup artist for M·A·C over the last 10 years, pushing his craft beyond the realm of the everyday. Matthew worked as M·A·C’s Community Engagement Artist for Canada, where he showcased the brand’s artistry and product innovation to engage the artist community and beyond. In 2018, Matthew was chosen as the Judges’ Choice Winner of the Wild Heart Competition for the year, securing his position as a frontrunning artist in the Toronto community.

Matthew has had the pleasure of working with some of Canada’s top talent, including Tessa Virtue, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Anjulie, Jimmy Rankin, Jay Baruchel, Bruce Greenwood and Amanda Brugel.
