Sean formally trained in Fine Arts, majoring in Theatrical Design and Production at York University. His eye for detail and composition led to his hiring as a visual merchandiser for Gap’s International Flagship store before graduation and to a professional development opportunity as a props artist with the Canadian Opera Company soon after. Sean’s career continued to rise when he joined the Design office of the Stratford Festival, quickly advancing to the position of Senior Design Assistant. Through Stratford, Sean was invited to become the inaugural set and wardrobe designer for the Central American arts collective, Es Artes. Upon returning to Toronto Sean began focusing more on advertising and editorial work, finding a home and loyal client base through Judy Inc. Combining his fine arts experience with contemporary and commercial projects, Sean continues to freelance in both fields bringing a uniquely trained eye to his work.
